Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Psion Phyrrus (ranked 2420 p4p, 3457 weight class) and Sohrab Bahmanzade (ranked 321 p4p, 432 weight class). Sohrab Bahmanzade has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Psion Phyrrus's chin.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sohrab Bahmanzade!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bahmanzade takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Bahmanzade tries to move into range but Phyrrus moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

It looks like Sohrab Bahmanzade has been cut.
The fighters circling - Bahmanzade throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Bahmanzade throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Phyrrus bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Bahmanzade gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Bahmanzade is rocked!
Phyrrus waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Bahmanzade.
Phyrrus closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Bahmanzade! Phyrrus dives in looking to finish! Bahmanzade is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

After the fight, Psion Phyrrus was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
