Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Alex Silva!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Emerson Jorge and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Gaul misses with a body shot.
Silva takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
The Gaul looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Silva steps to the side to avoid the strikes from The Gaul.
The Gaul keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
The Gaul takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Silva throws an ugly left hook that misses
enabling The Gaul to counter with a crisp jab.
The Gaul takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Silva moves out of range of the body kick.
Silva will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Silva loads up on a big right hand but The Gaul slips the punch.
The Gaul lands with a nice body punch.
The Gaul lands with a hook. Silva tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Silva throws a lazy uppercut
enabling The Gaul to counter with a crisp jab.
Silva ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Silva misses with a takedown
and The Gaul counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
The Gaul just misses with a punch to the body.

The Gaul cracks Silva with a good jab.
The Gaul cracks Silva with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Silva looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can The Gaul finish him?
Silva is rocked!
Crixus The Gaul is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
The Gaul scoring well with a low kick there.
Silva is still on wobbly legs! Can The Gaul finish him?
Silva loads up on a big right hand but The Gaul slips the punch.
The Gaul tries to counter by clinching up but Silva breaks away and moves out of range.
Silva seems to have recovered his senses.
The Gaul is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
The Gaul defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Silva.
Crixus The Gaul has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alex Silva.
The Gaul throws a series of punches but Silva moves out of range.
Silva feints the counter takedown.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

The Gaul batters Silva with a massive right followed by a huge left! Silva is out on his feet looking like a zombie as The Gaul lands a final crushing right hand to drop Silva to the mat with a gruesome thud! The Gaul is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!
