Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Timothy Roundthwaite (ranked 4547 p4p, 4698 weight class) and Bubba Hendrix (ranked 0 p4p, 470 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Roundthwaite counters with a nice double leg into side control. Hendrix won't be happy with that.
Hendrix really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Roundthwaite. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

As Hendrix tries to get set, Roundthwaite tries to push him back and clinch up but Hendrix manages to avoid the attempt.

Roundthwaite swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Hendrix is now in Roundthwaite's guard. A big mistake from Roundthwaite there, giving up the dominant position!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Roundthwaite is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Roundthwaite looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Hendrix with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Roundthwaite is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
