Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Clifford Val Salvacion (ranked 24884 p4p, 23809 weight class) and My Fighter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Clifford Val Salvacion!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 14 - 2, fighting out of New York, My Fighter!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Bruno Lombardi and Alyssa Summers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

Salvacion fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Fighter sprawls well initially but Salvacion persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Fighter manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Fighter fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Salvacion quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Salvacion.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Fighter seems a little lost for a moment, as Salvacion dominates the positioning.
Fighter tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Salvacion wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Fighter managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Salvacion.
A lull in the action here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Salvacion seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Fighter for as long as he can get away with.
You can see the frustration on Fighter's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Salvacion trying to control the action but Fighter is working from the bottom.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Fighter blocks a head kick by Salvacion.
Fighter feints the counter takedown.
Salvacion has a takedown stuffed.
Fighter replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Salvacion blocks it well.

and Fighter finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.

Fighter closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Salvacion is breathing heavily.

Fighter postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Salvacion to stand up.
Fighter shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Salvacion sprawls well. Salvacion wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Fighter gets slowly back to his feet.
It looked like Salvacion was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Fighter shoots for a takedown but Salvacion saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Clifford Val Salvacion has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of My Fighter.
Salvacion stuffs the takedown attempt from Fighter. Fighter gets slowly back to his feet.
Salvacion jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Salvacion throws a half hearted mid kick.
Fighter is looking for the big counter here.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Fighter shoots in for a takedown but Salvacion shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Salvacion is looking to counter with a body kick.
Fighter misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
And Salvacion counters with a quick kick to the body but Fighter blocks it.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but My Fighter will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Fighter shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Salvacion as he jumps to the side.
It appears Salvacion was looking to counter with a kick there.
Fighter leaves Salvacion with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Fighter closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Salvacion did well to prevent Fighter getting side control.
Salvacion tries to kick Fighter off in order to stand up. Fighter Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.

Fighter in side control, just content to control the action for now.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Fighter stands up.
Fighter fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Salvacion closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Salvacion lands in his opponent's guard.
Fighter looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Salvacion puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Fighter is staying active underneath Salvacion, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Fighter kicks off Salvacion and gets to his feet.
Salvacion gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Fighter counters with a solid body kick.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Salvacion gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Salvacion pulls Fighter in close to prevent any damage.
Fighter slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Salvacion is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

My Fighter showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Fighter steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.
Fighter throws the kick towards the body but Salvacion avoids it.

Fighter looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Salvacion is fending him off so far but Fighter persists. Nope, Salvacion circles away and we're back to standing.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.

Fighter closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
You can see the frustration on Salvacion's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Fighter controls the position.

Fighter decides to stand back up. Fighter steps back and let's Salvacion get back to his feet.
My Fighter is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Fighter shoots in looking for a takedown but Salvacion manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Fighter's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Clifford Val Salvacion has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Salvacion gets caught flat footed, as Fighter shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Fighter has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Salvacion is trying to keep Fighter in close.

My Fighter comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Fighter winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
