Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Michael Chandler (ranked 4439 p4p, 4274 weight class) and Bob Yan (ranked 461 p4p, 446 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Michael Chandler!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bob Yan!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Chris Downing and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yan closes the distance and pushes Chandler back into the cage.
Yan wants to stall.
Chandler successfully pulls guard.
Yan trying to control the position from guard on top but Chandler is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Chandler lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
Yan pulls Chandler in to control the position.
Chandler trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Chandler's corner is telling him to maintain position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Yan is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Chandler is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Chandler won't allow Yan to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Chandler wants to pass the guard but Yan is keeping the position.
Yan wants to stand but Chandler is controlling the position.
Yan can't keep his opponent in guard - Chandler advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Chandler in particular looking to stall.
Chandler works his way into full mount!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Yan tries to hold on but Chandler postures up.

Yan tries to buck Chandler off but he can't manage it.
Yan looks winded!
Chandler sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Chandler seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Yan for as long as he can get away with.
Yan wants to control but Chandler is having none of it.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Chandler lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Chandler's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Michael Chandler dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.
Chandler shoots in looking for a takedown. Yan tries to sprawl out of it but Chandler keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Yan manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Chandler closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Yan quickly recovers to half guard.
Yan tries to kick Chandler off in order to stand up. Chandler Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Yan on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Yan is letting Chandler control him for a moment.
Chandler has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Yan!

Chandler working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Yan turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Chandler off and cradles Yan's limp body as Chandler celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Michael Chandler!
