Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Colin Penn (ranked 1987 p4p, 3459 weight class) and Big Fist (ranked 218 p4p, 359 weight class). Penn comes to the cage accompanied by The End. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Penn drops his hands momentarily and Fist takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Fist uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Penn.
A little jabbing left from Fist on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Penn takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Penn misses with a few strikes there.
Penn throws a lazy right hand but Fist sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Fist misses with a series of wild punches.
Penn has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Shut Up & Train! {$1000} in the buildup to the fight.
Fist scores with a three punch combo!
Penn throws a leg kick that misses.

Penn clinches up with Fist and pushes him back against the cage.
Penn stalling.
Penn blocks an uppercut.
Penn is trying to drag Fist to the mat but Fist just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Penn tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Fist misses with a hook from the clinch.

Penn fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Penn pushes Fist back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Fist wants to break the clinch but can't.

Penn is pushing Fist up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Fist swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Penn has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Fist is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Fist tries to work over Penn's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Penn drops down looking for an ankle pick but Fist pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Colin Penn. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Fist counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Fist moves out of range of the body kick.
Fist lands an overhand right.
Fist misses with a hook. Penn ducked under it nicely.
Penn goes for a double leg but Fist avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Fist continues to drive forward.
Penn tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Fist's elbow.

Fist is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Fist moves out of range of the strikes.
Fist misses the jab.
Fist lands a jab to the nose.
Penn ducks under a wild hook from Fist.
Penn tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Fist now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Colin Penn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Penn shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Penn misses with a wild combination.
Penn looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Fist is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Fist thuds a left hand into Penn's body.
Penn misses with a wild body shot.
Penn throws a body kick that misses.
This has been an exciting period of action!

As Penn backs off Fist throws a huge counter combo but Penn manages to avoid it all.

and Fist counters with a two punch combo.
Fist wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Penn is breathing heavily.
Fist fails to land with a series of punches.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Fist has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Fist lands with a nice body punch.
Fist throws a right and a left that Penn avoids nicely.
Fist takes one to the side of the head.
Big Fist seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Penn keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Fist lands a glancing blow to the side of Penn's head.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Fist, as that shot connected.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fist stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Penn dodges the punch combination from Fist.
Penn went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

Fist feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Penn sprawling to the canvas! Penn rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Fist finish him?!

Penn is rocked!

Fist scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Fist sends Penn crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Fist is motioning to the referee to let Penn up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Oh Penn is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fist uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Penn.
Fist throws an uppercut from hell that sends Penn clean off his feet! He's out cold! Fist stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.

Big Fist seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
Colin Penn spoke after the fight, saying 'Oh well. Not a bad loss the guy beat me tonight, I don't feel bad.'.
