The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Crumb throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Red is trying to counter with his kicks.
Red goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Red should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Crumb rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Red moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Red gets the takedown into side control.
Red moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
Crumb tries to improve position but can't.
Red misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Crumb manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Red is staying active underneath Crumb, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Red is trying to control but can't.

Crumb wants to work for an arm triangle but Red is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Red tries to get to full guard but Crumb has control of the leg.
Crumb wants to pass the guard but Red is defending well.
Red gets full guard.

Red is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Red keeping moving, preventing Crumb from controlling successfully.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Red looking for a sweep. Not yet Red, not yet.
Red is striking from the bottom but Crumb uses the opportunity to pass into half guard.
Red wants to get back to his feet.
Crumb moves into side control, avoiding the strikes from Red.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Red sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Yum Crumb.
