Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Dennis Rader!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Robert Bennett!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Paul Gruel and Chris Saunders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice cross by Rader.
Rader looks to land a right hand but Bennett moved out of range.

Bennett closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rader is trying to get back to full guard.
Rader really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Rader is trying to maintain the position but Bennett is very close to passing his half guard.
Bennett seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

Rader is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Bennett pulls his head out easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Rader manages to get to full guard.

Rader has his foot on Bennett's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bennett works his way back into a safe position though.
Bennett stays in close to Rader's body and controls the position.

Rader had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Bennett defends it easily.

Rader is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Rader moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Rader working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bennett doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bennett manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Bennett stays in close to Rader's body and controls the position.

Rader is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Bennett trying to control the position from guard on top but Rader is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Rader trying to keep a closed guard but Bennett is proving a slippery customer.

Rader looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Bennett passes into half guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Rader trying to hold on to Bennett's head to control him but Bennett postures up.
Bennett wants to free his trapped foot but Rader is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Rader wants to control but Bennett is keeping busy.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Dennis Rader dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Rader gets caught napping as Bennett dives in and scores a takedown. Rader manages to retain guard.
Rader will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Rader has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Bennett doesn't defend quickly enough and Rader has managed to lock this one up! Can Bennett escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Rader on a fantastic submission victory.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:23 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Dennis Rader!
Dennis Rader was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
