Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jermaine Drummond (ranked 6235 p4p, 24324 weight class) and Jerry Iommi (ranked 622 p4p, 713 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Iommi's choice of entrance music: Into The Void. Jermaine Drummond had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 171.4lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. The key to victory for Jermaine Drummond has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Francis DeMontford, Skip Squint and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drummond throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Drummond clobbers Iommi with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Iommi tries to bum rush Drummond with a series of wild strikes but Drummond uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Drummond turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Iommi tried to score with a low kick but Drummond checks it.
Drummond pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Drummond tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Iommi paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Iommi blocks a head kick by Drummond.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Iommi gets a double leg takedown into Drummond's guard.
Drummond wants to get back to his feet but Iommi passes into half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Iommi seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Drummond is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
