Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fredrik Fernros (ranked 3286 p4p, 1537 weight class) and Petter Persson (ranked 352 p4p, 182 weight class). Fernros comes to the cage accompanied by Scarlet - Beauty & Beast. Persson is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by JINJER - Pisces. Fredrik Fernros has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Fernros!
Persson swings for the body but Fernros moves out of range.
Fernros seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Fernros takes a swing at Persson's ribcage but misses.
Fredrik Fernros seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fernros fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Persson manages to avoid it.
Fernros showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Persson.
Fernros fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
A jab from Persson misses.
Persson misses with a jab, cross combination.
Fernros works the jab nicely.
Fernros wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Fernros pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Persson back to the cage. Fernros follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Persson keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Persson loads up on a big right hand but Fernros slips the punch.
Fernros ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Persson moves away.
It seemed like Persson was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Fernros throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Persson counters with a stiff right hand.

It looks like Fredrik Fernros has been cut.
Fernros throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Persson stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Fernros shoots in for a takedown but Persson shows good takedown defense.
No joy there for Persson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
No luck for Fernros with that takedown attempt.
A little jabbing left from Persson on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Fredrik Fernros. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Fernros takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Fernros looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Fernros cracks Persson with a right hand to the side of the head.
Fernros tries for a takedown but Persson circles away easily
and Persson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Fernros slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Fernros lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Persson circles away quickly and effectively.
Fernros pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Persson back to the cage. Fernros follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Fernros shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Persson pinned against the cage. Persson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Persson lands a big right hand that sends Fernros crashing to the mat! Persson stays standing though and waves Fernros back to his feet!
Fernros dives in and grabs Persson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Persson pushes down on Fernros's head and hops out.
Fernros throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Fernros comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Fernros throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
A looping hook to the body misses from Fernros. Persson does a little dance to reset his feet.
Fernros throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Persson stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

In his post fight interview, Petter Persson started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
Fredrik Fernros was interviewed post fight and said 'You win lose, you some some.'.
