Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Alphonso Davies!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jayson Clause!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Sam Margolis and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davies avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Davies moves out of range as Clause strikes.
Davies seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Clause misses with an uppercut.
Clause rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Davies moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Davies was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Clause jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Jab, jab by Clause - just one landing.
It looks like Alphonso Davies has been cut.

and Clause cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Clause throws out a loose jab but Davies uses good head movement to avoid it.
Davies misses with a head kick.
Clause missing with a left hand there. Davies was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Clause waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Davies.
Davies closes this distance looking for a takedown but Clause circles away.
Clause avoids the head kick by Davies.
Clause misses with a wild body shot.
Davies blocks a jab.
Clause misses with an uppercut. Davies saw that one coming.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Clause loads up on a big right hand but Davies slips the punch.
Clause misses with a wild body shot.
Clause might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Clause ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Davies lands a nice shot that snaps Clause's head back.
Clause checks a leg kick.
Davies throws a low kick but it's checked well by Clause.
Clause connects with a crisp jab.
Clause lands a big uppercut and Davies crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Davies looks OK. Clause waves Davies back to his feet!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Clause pounces like a tiger and cracks Davies with a vicious hook! Davies is down but not out! Clause follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
