Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jenerick Montgomery !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, James Arnold!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A momentary lapse in concentration from Arnold enables Montgomery to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Arnold manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Montgomery is stalling in the full guard.
Montgomery definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Montgomery is pushing down on Arnold's leg trying to pass to half guard. Arnold is fighting to maintain full guard but Montgomery has managed to sneak the leg through.
Montgomery is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Montgomery is pressing down on Arnold's thigh, looking to free his foot. Arnold is holding on for now.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Montgomery wants to work for an arm triangle but Arnold is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Montgomery is working for a kimura but Arnold is defending it quite comfortably.

Arnold is squirming around, avoiding Montgomery 's attempts to control the action.
Arnold really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Montgomery . If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Montgomery with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Montgomery working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Arnold turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Montgomery off and cradles Arnold's limp body as Montgomery celebrates with his corner.
