Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hammar Hands (ranked 4369 p4p, 3560 weight class) and Arjen Depay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hammar Hands had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Hammar Hands!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Arjen Depay!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Nard Betker and Patrick Alders.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Depay takes a kick to the side of the head.
Hands fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Depay checks it well.
Hands scores with a kick to the midsection.
Hands wants to slow Depay down by chopping away at his legs.
Depay moves out of range of the body kick.
Depay swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.

Depay dives in and scores a takedown into Hands's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Depay drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Depay jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Depay pushes down on Hands's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Depay is working for a submission of some sort.
Hands regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Depay.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Depay is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Depay pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Hands is keeping the position for now.

Hands escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Depay gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Hands has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Depay doesn't defend quickly enough and Hands has managed to lock this one up! Can Depay escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Hands on a fantastic submission victory.
