The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takano thuds his right hand into Fairtex's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Yoshi Takano seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Fairtex throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Despite the aggression on Takano's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Fairtex connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Takano out cold! This one is over in a flash!
