Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Illya Tyunina and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drakovic gets caught flat footed, as Taphi shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Taphi slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Taphi is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Taphi wanted to stand there but Drakovic had control of the position.

Drakovic is trying to keep Taphi in close.
Drakovic looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Taphi has picked Drakovic up and slammed him! Drakovic can't keep hold of the triangle and Taphi manages to pass to side control!

What can Drakovic do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Drakovic really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Taphi. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Drakovic rolls, trying to escape but Taphi keeps control of the position.

Taphi is punishing Drakovic with strikes - can he finish him?!

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Taphi throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Drakovic was covering up waiting for the punch and Taphi finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Taphi is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Well, if Taphi is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Taphi is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Drakovic can do to turn this around?

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Taphi is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Drakovic felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Drakovic is being controlled here.
Taphi has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Taphi is working to tighten his grip on Drakovic's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Drakovic has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Taphi is really squeezing tight and eventually Drakovic passes out! Taphi breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
