Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Brady Kurtz (ranked 5192 p4p, 3792 weight class) and Jack Mehov (ranked 500 p4p, 403 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Summer Carpenter and Ron Honeybunn.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kurtz gets caught napping as Mehov dives in and scores a takedown. Kurtz manages to retain guard.
Kurtz preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Mehov pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Kurtz is keeping the position for now.
Mehov trying to control but Kurtz is working from the bottom.
Kurtz working for a triangle but Mehov defends it easily.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Kurtz holds on and takes a little breather.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Kurtz looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Mehov! Submission of the night perhaps?

Jack Mehov spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
