Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Clifford Val Salvacion (ranked 6431 p4p, 7065 weight class) and My Fighter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Clifford Val Salvacion!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 10 - 1, fighting out of New York, My Fighter!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Bruno Lombardi and Chad Campbell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Fighter shoots in looking for a takedown but Salvacion manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Fighter's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Salvacion thinks about countering with a body kick.

Salvacion gets a double leg takedown into Fighter's guard.
Salvacion is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Fighter wants to stand up but Salvacion is controlling him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fighter throws a couple of heel strikes.

Salvacion stays in close to Fighter's body and controls the position.

Fighter kicks Salvacion off and gets to his feet.
Fighter checks a low kick from Salvacion.
Fighter displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Salvacion.
Fighter thinks about the counter body kick.
Salvacion defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Fighter.

Salvacion will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Fighter with the counter takedown but Salvacion avoids it easily.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Salvacion.
And Fighter responds with a good body kick, but Salvacion manages to step out the way in time.
Fighter closes this distance looking for a takedown but Salvacion circles away.

Fighter misses with a takedown attempt - Salvacion sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Fighter shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Salvacion but Salvacion pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Salvacion attempts a counter takedown but Fighter avoids it well and moves away.
Salvacion moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Salvacion closes this distance looking for a takedown but Fighter circles away.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Salvacion shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Salvacion keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Fighter fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Salvacion to the ground. Fighter is now in Salvacion's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fighter seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Fighter tries to stand but Salvacion is controlling from the bottom.

Salvacion has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Fighter with a nice head shot there.
Fighter engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Salvacion trying to keep a closed guard but Fighter is proving a slippery customer.
Fighter wants to stand but Salvacion is controlling his posture from full guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Crunch! Salvacion slams his shin into Fighter's torso.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Fighter goes for a double leg but Salvacion avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Salvacion continues to drive forward.
Salvacion feinted with a counter takedown.
Nice takedown defense from Salvacion. No joy for Fighter on that attempt.
Salvacion throws a quick counter kick to the body but Fighter avoids it.

Salvacion manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Fighter on his heels. He'll look to pass Fighter's guard now, I'm sure.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Fighter manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.

Fighter escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Fighter fails with a takedown attempt.
Clifford Val Salvacion has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of My Fighter.
Salvacion misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

My Fighter showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

Fighter fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
And Salvacion counters with a quick kick to the body but Fighter blocks it.
Fighter shoots in for a takedown but Salvacion shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Fighter just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromSalvacion.
Fighter stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Fighter wants it to stay on the feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Salvacion closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fighter holds on to Salvacion's head and controls the position momentarily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Salvacion controls the position.
Fighter is trying to control Salvacion's posture but Salvacion avoids it.
Salvacion is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Fighter will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Salvacion throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Fighter is trying to get back to his feet.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Fighter fails with the takedown.
Salvacion jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
Clifford Val Salvacion has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of My Fighter.
Fighter shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Salvacion but Salvacion pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Salvacion throws a counter high kick but Fighter was just alert enough to avoid it.

Salvacion shoots in and bounces Fighter off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Fighter is looking to stand up but Salvacion isn't so interested in that idea.
Salvacion looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Salvacion stops Fighter from standing up.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
