The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Janecek stuffs the takedown attempt from Suuhun. Suuhun gets slowly back to his feet.
Adrian Janecek seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Suuhun closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Janecek is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Suuhun looking for a takedown.
Suuhun is pressed up against the cage. Janecek has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Suuhun down to the mat. Suuhun avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Janecek rushes Suuhun and presses him up against the cage.

Suuhun breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Janecek throws a body kick that misses

and Suuhun counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Janecek wants to improve his position but Suuhun is controlling well.
Suuhun tries to pass to full mount but Janecek defends it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Suuhun is looking for a kimura here.

Suuhun is trying to work for a kimura but Janecek is defending well.

Suuhun is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Janecek is just riding it out for now. Suuhun eventually gives up the hold.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Suuhun uses his free foot to push down on Janecek's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Janecek.

Suuhun is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Janecek is forced to tap! Great finish!
