And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, William Kent!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Winters wants to slow Kent down by chopping away at his legs.
Kent shoots in for a double leg but Winters sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Kent misses with a takedown attempt - Winters sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Hideo Winters has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of William Kent.
Kent shoots in for a takedown but Winters shows good takedown defense.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Winters throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Winters stuffs the takedown.

A looping hook to the body misses from Kent. Winters does a little dance to reset his feet.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Kent.
Kent gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Winters.
Kent looks gassed!
Kent shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Oh, that's a big right hand from Winters and Kent goes tumbling to the canvas! Winters follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.


It looks like William Kent has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Winters escapes and gets back to his feet.
Winters fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Kent square on the jaw! Damn, Kent is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!
