Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Corbin Leopold (ranked 1663 p4p, 3913 weight class) and Jon Rambo (ranked 187 p4p, 338 weight class). Jon Rambo has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Corbin Leopold's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Corbin Leopold!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 11 - 0, fighting out of London, Jon Rambo!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Yves DeLean and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rambo tries for a takedown but Leopold circles away easily
and Leopold connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
The fight stays on the outside here - Rambo looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Rambo shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Leopold manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Rambo trying to stand up but can't free himself from Leopold's guard.
Rambo looking to sit in guard and control but Leopold gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Leopold has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rambo controls Leopold momentarily but Leopold frees himself.

Rambo has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Leopold is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.
Leopold's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Rambo takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Leopold swats away the attempt to clinch by Rambo.
Leopold darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Leopold fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Rambo manages to avoid it.
Rambo misses with a low kick.
It looked like Leopold wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Corbin Leopold has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jon Rambo.
Rambo uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Leopold.
Leopold lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Oooh a lovely combination from Leopold sends Rambo down but not out. Leopold dives into side control looking to finish.
Rambo is rocked!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rambo is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Leopold off and has taken his back!
Rambo is still in real trouble! Can Leopold finish him?
Leopold defends a prolonged rear naked choke attempt and turns nicely into his opponent's guard.
Rambo is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Rambo seems to have recovered his senses.
Leopold wants to stand but Rambo has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Leopold not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

The fighters circling - Leopold throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Rambo throws a leg kick that is checked
and Leopold counters with a nice uppercut.

and Leopold makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
It looks like Leopold has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.
Rambo tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Leopold swivels and escapes.
A left lands for Leopold.
Leopold scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Rambo doesn't seem bothered though.

Leopold catches Rambo with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Jon Rambo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Leopold throws a right hand that Rambo ducks under and follows up with a left that Rambo also avoids with ease.
A decent looking cross lands there for Leopold.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Leopold lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Rambo circles away quickly and effectively.

Rambo lands a lovely overhand right.
Leopold moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Leopold scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Rambo moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
A jab from Leopold finds it's way through Rambo's defenses.
Rambo throws a wild hook but Leopold just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Rambo gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Leopold raises his hands in celebration and walks away!
