Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brooklyn Sutton (ranked 4957 p4p, 6699 weight class) and Sutarjo Sukarman (ranked 529 p4p, 628 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brooklyn Sutton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sutarjo Sukarman!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Viktor Lagutenko and Valeri Chadov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sukarman is trying hard to land a takedown here. Sutton sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Sutton manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Sukarman on his heels. He'll look to pass Sukarman's guard now, I'm sure.

Sukarman working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Sutton doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Sutton manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Sutton is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Sutton wants to pass the guard but Sukarman is keeping the position.
Sukarman wants to control the position but Sutton says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Sukarman wants to improve his position but Sutton is controlling well.
Sukarman is not content to let Sutton control the position.

Sutton is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Sukarman sees it coming and defends easily.

Sutton is pressing down on Sukarman's thigh, looking to free his foot. Sukarman is holding on for now.
Sutton wants to take a breather but Sukarman is having none of it.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Sutton tries to pass to full mount but Sukarman defends it.
Sutton slows the pace down in half guard.
Sutton is thwarting Sukarman's attempts to control the position.
Sutton is looking to take a break and control but Sukarman is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Sutton shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Sukarman moves into the clinch.
A bit of stalling here from Sukarman.
Sukarman throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Sukarman is pressed up against the cage. Sutton has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Sukarman down to the mat. Sukarman avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Sutton controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Sutton is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Sukarman doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Sutton.

Sutton content to control rather than advance.
Sukarman wants to improve his position but Sutton is controlling well.
Sukarman really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sutton. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Sutton wants to control but Sukarman is keeping him busy.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Sutton perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Sukarman stuffs the takedown.
Sutton really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Sukarman drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Sutton controls Sukarman momentarily but Sukarman frees himself.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Sutton is on top in guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sukarman is trying to keep Sutton in close.
Sukarman is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Sutton stays in close to Sukarman's body and controls the position.
Sutton slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Sutton advances nicely into full mount.
Sutton looking to control and managing it successfully.

Sutton is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Sukarman is surviving well by controlling Sutton's body position as best he can.

Sutton has isolated one of Sukarman's arms. Sukarman looking to fight him off but Sutton twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!

Sutarjo Sukarman was interviewed post fight and said 'Next i'll win'.
