Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Boy Bawang (ranked 1904 p4p, 2471 weight class) and Aleksey Viktorov (ranked 103 p4p, 127 weight class). Viktorov has chosen Lyube - Davay Za as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Boy Bawang!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Aleksey Viktorov!
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Emerson Jorge and Felipe Paraventi.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Viktorov moves into range and clinches up with Bawang.
Viktorov jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Bawang walks away with a smile on his face. Viktorov gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Viktorov shoots in but no luck this time.
Viktorov with a poor takedown
and Bawang counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Boy Bawang has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Aleksey Viktorov.

Viktorov closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Bawang's guard.
Bawang on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Bawang tries to get out of the position.
Bawang looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Viktorov seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Bawang is trying to control the position but Viktorov postures up.
Viktorov trying to control the position from guard on top but Bawang is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Viktorov is stalling in the full guard.
Let's hope that Viktorov has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Viktorov drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Bawang dives on top into guard.

Viktorov is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Bawang content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Viktorov has locked up a guillotine! Viktorov's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Bawang is holding on here and Viktorov must be using up a lot of energy. Bawang has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Viktorov gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
