Persson has chosen JINJER - Pisces as his entrance music. Petter Persson will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fett throws an off balance right hand
and Persson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Fett shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Persson manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Fett is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fett working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Fett throws a big right hand that misses.
Fett throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Persson wants to stand up but Fett is controlling him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Fett wants to pass the guard but Persson is keeping the position.

Fett content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Fett is looking to work some ground and pound but Persson has wrist control.
Fett has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Fett's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Persson wants to stand but Fett is controlling the position.

Persson pushes Fett off and scrambles back to his feet.
Fett connects with a right hand. Persson shakes it off.
Persson cracks a nice hook into Fett's ribs.

and Persson counters with a nice body shot.

Fett shoots in for a takedown but Persson shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Fett is breathing heavily.
Persson catches Fett with a right, a left, a right. It's raining punches and Fett forgot an umbrella! Another punch and he's down. This one is over!

After the fight, Petter Persson was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
