Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Darsin Bleak (ranked 721 p4p, 888 weight class) and Wei Ru (ranked 85 p4p, 108 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Darsin Bleak!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Wei Ru!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Chris Edwards and James Ackerman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bleak gets a takedown into half guard.
Bleak not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Bleak throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Bleak trying to mount his opponent but Ru defends it.
Bleak throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Ru can do anything to dispel that myth.
Bleak sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Ru defending well though.
Bleak has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Ru keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Bleak thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Bleak missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Ru told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bleak is nestled in close to Ru, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Bleak connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Ru is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
BOOM! Bleak connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Poor strikes thrown by Bleak there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bleak lands a big elbow.
Ru takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Bleak is landing with some decent strikes but Ru is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bleak looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Bleak thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

Bleak punching from mount but Ru doing a good job of avoiding damage.
Bleak breaks from Ru's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Bleak lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Ru is still in real trouble! Can Bleak finish him?
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bleak postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Ru badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Bleak around the waist but Bleak pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Bleak is the winner by TKO! Bleak jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
