Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jukka Bomber (ranked 3218 p4p, 3521 weight class) and Rian O Sullivan (ranked 66 p4p, 74 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bomber loads up on a big right hand but O Sullivan slips the punch.
O Sullivan's coach down at Navy Street MMA was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on O Sullivan's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Bomber just misses with a punch to the body.
Bomber misses with a wild body shot.
Bomber looks to throw the jab but O Sullivan is out of range.

enabling O Sullivan to counter with a crisp jab.
O Sullivan is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Bomber.
O Sullivan catches Bomber with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Bomber takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
O Sullivan feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Bombers jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

O Sullivan closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Bomber's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
O Sullivan misses with a kick to the body.

and O Sullivan counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Bomber has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Outlier Martial Arts in the buildup to the fight.

Bomber keeps the fight on the outside.
Bomber throws a shot from downtown. O Sullivan moves away and avoids it.
O Sullivan uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Bomber.
Bomber misses with a looping right.
Bomber takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
O Sullivan smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Bomber doesn't manage to clinch there - O Sullivan circles away.
O Sullivan is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Bomber had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.

Bomber takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Bomber tries to bum rush O Sullivan with a series of wild strikes but O Sullivan uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

O Sullivan has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Bomber walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Bomber was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

and Bomber cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Bomber gets cracked there but stands up to it.
O Sullivan lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Bomber checks a leg kick.
Bomber lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Bomber takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Bomber thows a left - swing and a miss!
O Sullivan tries to clinch but Bomber moves out of range.
O Sullivan scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.

Bomber is rocked!

and O Sullivan counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Oh Bomber is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
O Sullivan throws a lazy right hand but Bomber sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Bomber seems to have got his legs back now.
O Sullivan misses with a low kick.
A slow jab from O Sullivan misses its intended target.
A shot to the body from Bomber misses
and O Sullivan counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
The fighters circle momentarily. O Sullivan darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bomber throws a body shot but no joy.
O Sullivan cracks Bomber with a hook to the temple - Bomber is on wobbly legs here! O Sullivan swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Bomber falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! O Sullivan wins by TKO!
