Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Scott Hill (ranked 848 p4p, 1759 weight class) and Shaun Brownie (ranked 22 p4p, 56 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Scott Hill!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Shaun Brownie!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brownie displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Hill.
Hill throws out a powerful jab.
Hill ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Brownie works the jab nicely.
Hill uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Brownie.
Hill has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Brownie throws a body shot but no joy.
Hill will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

A little jabbing left from Brownie on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

A telegraphed right hand from Brownie misses the target.
A punch lands to the side of Hill 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Hill is looking for a triangle but Brownie pushes his legs off easily.

Hill is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Brownie knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Hill is looking to take a break and control but Brownie is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Hill is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Brownie is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Brownie wants to control but Hill postures up.

Brownie is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Hill's half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hill accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Scott Hill overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Hill manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Hill pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Hill throws a head punch that misses.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Hill lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Hill just misses with a elbow thrown towards Brownie's brow.
Hill tries a body shot but Brownie blocks it.
Come on Hill - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Hill changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Brownie fights it off and pushes away nicely.

I would just about give that final round to Shaun Brownie.
I've got Brownie winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Shaun Brownie decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
Scott Hill spoke after the fight, saying 'No one likes seeing their opponent's hand raised, but that just means that they were the better man today. My team at 3Band MMA and I will break down this match and make the proper changes for my next camp.'.
