Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dad Smith (ranked 4552 p4p, 4586 weight class) and Mateusz Mateusz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mateusz has chosen Marcin Najman-ostatnia walka as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Smith goes for a double leg but Mateusz avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Mateusz continues to drive forward.

Mateusz has closed the distance and engaged Smith in a clinch.

Mateusz tries to close the distance and clinch but Smith swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Smith is working to avoid the ground and pound but Mateusz connects with a decent elbow.

Mateusz decides to stand up, so the ref orders Smith to his feet.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Smith is defended easily by Mateusz.
Mateusz tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Let's hope that Mateusz has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Mateusz had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Smith defends it easily.

Well Mateusz has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
