Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Ren Mimura and Yuuki Gou.

Chimech throws a quick inside leg kick.
Smiley connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Chimech's hands.
Chimech fails with a takedown attempt.
Smiley rushes Chimech and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Smiley will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Chimech up against the cage.
Chimech has Smiley pushed against the cage.
Chimech escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Smiley wants to clinch.
Smiley closes the distance and clinches.

Chimech tries to pull guard but Smiley holds him up against the cage and eventually Chimech drops back down to his feet.

Smiley is trying to break the clinch but Chimech has him pressed against the cage.

Chimech breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Chimech looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Smiley is fending him off so far but Chimech persists. Nope, Smiley circles away and we're back to standing.
Nick Smiley has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lee Chimech.
Chimech jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Smiley has Chimech up against the cage in a clinch.
Chimech's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

The fight stays on the outside here - Smiley looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Smiley rushes Chimech and presses him up against the cage.
Smiley wants to get back to striking at distance but Chimech won't allow it.
Chimech has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Smiley avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Chimech breaks from the clinch.
Smiley lands with a straight right. Chimech didn't see that one coming.
Smiley takes the fight into the clinch.

Chimech gets control of Smiley's arms and successfully pulls guard. Chimech will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Chimech is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Smiley has his hands clasped together but Chimech extends and breaks Smiley's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Chimech.
