The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith misses with a series of wild punches.
Smith keeps McGuire at a distance using the push kick.
McGuire throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Smith throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and McGuire counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
McGuire lets loose with a powerful body kick. Smith will feel that in the morning.
Smith moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Smith looks to land a body kick but McGuire moved away.
McGuire looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Smith misses with a left hand
and McGuire counters with a stiff right hand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
McGuire lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Smith scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

Smith moves into the clinch.
Smith has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

McGuire's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

McGuire drops his guard momentarily, allowing Smith to crack him with a picture perfect lead left hook! Boom! Down goes McGuire! Oh, he's in big trouble - I don't like his chances here as the referee's count reaches 5. 6,7,8,9...10! He's out! Smith takes it!
