PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Aron Gray (ranked 5286 p4p, 4703 weight class) and Pierre WC (ranked 511 p4p, 477 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gray takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Decent striking displayed by WC there.
Gray looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Gray throws a leg kick but WC checks it.
WC throws a good cross that connects.
Gray tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
WC throws out a counter right but Gray avoids it with no problem.
Gray takes one to the side of the head.
WC swats away the attempt to clinch by Gray .

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gray tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but WC swivels and escapes.
WC checks a low kick from Gray .

WC lands with a hook. Gray tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Gray shoots in for a double leg but WC sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
A little jabbing left from WC on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Gray is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
WC dips to his left and cracks Gray with an uppercut!
Gray throws a leg kick that is checked
and WC scores with a counter punch that sends Gray to the canvas! WC smells blood - he's punishing Gray with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Gray has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
