Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Boxing Guy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mattias Lundgren!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Thiago Cunha and Edson Gomes.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Guy.
Guy fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Lundgren tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Guy moves into the clinch successfully.
Lundgren jumps guard but Guy stands there with Lundgren around his waist. Lundgren gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Guy is trying to push Lundgren away but Lundgren has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Guy's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Guy throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Guy gets a clinch.

Lundgren jumps into guard, dragging Guy to the mat.

Lundgren has his foot on Guy's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Guy works his way back into a safe position though.
Guy wanted to stand there but Lundgren had control of the position.

Guy wants to stand and escape but instead Lundgren has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Guy is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Lundgren slips nicely into half guard.
Guy is trying to escape back to his feet but Lundgren uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Lundgren wants to lay and pray for a moment but Guy keeps working.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Guy is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Guy is not content to let Lundgren control the position.
Guy tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.

Lundgren has managed to slip his arm under Guy's chin. This could be all over... yep, Guy is tapping out! Submission win for Lundgren.

Mattias Lundgren decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
