The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harris lands a right hook to the body.
Harris comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Harris scores with a punch to the head.
Harris throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Masuta counters with a stiff right hand.
Harris misses with a low kick.
Baby Boy Harris seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Masuta takes one to the side of the head.
Harris lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Masuta at a distance.
Harris swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Masuta counters with a stiff right hand.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Harris!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Masuta checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Masuta steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.
Harris throws a push kick but Masuta slaps the foot to one side.
Masuta looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Harris throws a big shot that misses.
A nice side step and Masuta releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

and Masuta counters with a right hand to the body.

Harris thows a leg kick but Masuta checks it
and Masuta finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Harris connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Harris throws a sloppy head kick and Masuta moves out of range easily.

and Masuta counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
The fighters circling - Harris throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Harris throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Masuta counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Masuta avoids the head kick by Harris.
Harris throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Masuta .
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Masuta ! But no joy.
Harris misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Masuta doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Harris misses with a looping left.
Masuta flicks out a counter leg kick but Harris steps away.
Harris throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Harris looks to land a combination but Masuta avoids it well.
A little jabbing left from Masuta on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Harris lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Harris.

Masuta is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Masuta is aggressively charging in as Harris backs up avoiding any damage. Harris tosses out a jab and Masuta runs right into it face first! Masuta is out cold! Harris dropped down on all fours and is barking in Masuta 's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
