The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Atunes scores with a hook to the body. Okoye takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
A jab from Atunes finds it's way through Okoye's defenses.
Okoye on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Okoye uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Atunes .
Atunes digs a good body shot into Okoye's ribs.
Okoye takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Okoye slips a straight right by Atunes .
And Okoye tries to counter it with a takedown but Atunes pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Atunes looks to score with a jab to the body but Okoye is just out of range.
Okoye avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Okoye with the counter takedown but Atunes avoids it easily.
Atunes lands a jab to Okoye's midsection.
Atunes throws out a loose jab but Okoye uses good head movement to avoid it.
Atunes looks to throw the jab but Okoye is out of range.
Atunes throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Okoye on the side of the head.

and Okoye counters with a single leg into guard. Atunes didn't expect that.

Atunes is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Okoye is aware though and is defending well.

Okoye is taking a breather. Atunes says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Okoye wants to free his trapped foot but Atunes is holding on for dear life with his legs.
