Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Percy O'Donnell and Jack Bonds.

Bennet misses with a kick to the body.
Jone drops down looking for a counter takedown but Bennet sprawls and moves away.
Jone tries to sprawl but Bennet drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Jone is not content to let Bennet control the position.
Jone manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Bennet keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
Jone has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Bennet is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Jone lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Well, if Jone is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Jone is keen to just control but Bennet is a slippery customer.
Bennet is looking for a sweep. Jone is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Bennet is not content to let Jone control the position.
Jone thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Bennet is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Jone is staying active.
Jone trying to control from half guard but Bennet is working away.
Bennet gets back to full guard.
Bennet looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Jone wants to pass the guard but Bennet is keeping the position.
Bennet seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Jone is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Jone is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Bennet is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Jone stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bennet swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Jone controlling from the top position.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Bennet gets a double leg takedown into Jone's guard.
Jone manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Bennet drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Jone wants to get back to his feet but Bennet is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Jone manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
Bennet wants the takedown. Jone is fighting it off but Bennet persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Jone's guard against the cage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bennet stays in close to Jone's body and controls the position.
Jone has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Bennet off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Jone closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Bennet quickly recovers to half guard.
Jone is breathing heavily.
Jone wants to control but Bennet is keeping him busy.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Jone is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Bennet is just riding it out for now. Jone eventually gives up the hold.

Jone takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Bennet wants to get back to full guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bennet looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jone is one step ahead there.
Jone wants to control from the top but Bennet keeps moving.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Jone fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Bennet to the ground. Jone is now in Bennet's guard.
Jone drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Jone as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Bennet screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Jone! Nice submission victory there!
