Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Zeljko Darko (ranked 24886 p4p, 4312 weight class) and Mikey Jacobs (ranked 0 p4p, 403 weight class). Mikey Jacobs told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Jacobs throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Darko moves out of range of the body kick from Jacobs.
Mikey Jacobs seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Jacobs closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Jacobs is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Darko is just riding it out for now. Jacobs eventually gives up the hold.
Darko wants to control but Jacobs is keeping busy.
Jacobs not landing any meaningful shots this time.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jacobs is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Jacobs in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Darko tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Jacobs!
