Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Maxwell McMaster (ranked 3413 p4p, 5922 weight class) and Werner Wernerblom (ranked 442 p4p, 594 weight class). Wernerblom has chosen Scarlet - Killer Quinn as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Wernerblom dodges the punch combination from McMaster.
McMaster tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Wernerblom manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Wernerblom walks into a stiff left hand from McMaster.
McMaster throws a hook but Wernerblom blocks it.
McMaster looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
McMaster comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
McMaster doesn't manage to clinch there - Wernerblom circles away.
McMaster throws a nice looking combination but Wernerblom bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
McMaster's jab looks to have found its range, popping Wernerblom under the eye.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
McMaster fails to land with a series of punches.
Wernerblom throws out a counter right but McMaster avoids it with no problem.
McMaster misses with a hook.
Wernerblom thows a left - swing and a miss!
McMaster avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
McMaster throws a leg kick
and Wernerblom counters with a stiff right hand.

It looks like Maxwell McMaster has been cut.

McMaster throws the left hand but Wernerblom avoids the punch easily.
Wernerblom is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
McMaster throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Maxwell McMaster seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McMaster throws a shot from downtown. Wernerblom moves away and avoids it.
McMaster avoids the body shot from Wernerblom.
McMaster feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Wernerbloms jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Wernerblom misses with a wild body shot.
McMaster half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.

McMaster shoots in and gets a takedown into Wernerblom's guard.

Wernerblom has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes McMaster off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
McMaster shoots for a takedown but Wernerblom saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Wernerblom slips under a jab.
Wernerblom slaps away a takedown attempt from McMaster, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Wernerblom swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
McMaster looks to land a left hand but Wernerblom moved out of range nicely.
Wernerblom looks like he wants to counter punch here.
McMaster shoots in for a takedown but Wernerblom shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Maxwell McMaster. That's going to take a lot out of him.
McMaster throws the left hand but Wernerblom avoids the punch easily.
McMaster tries to move into range but Wernerblom moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
and Wernerblom counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts McMaster! He's just covering up as Wernerblom starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!

In his post fight interview, Werner Wernerblom started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
