Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Felipe Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and graham mahon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Silva might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Set the control. Felipe Silva had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Silva shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Silva wants to control but mahon is keeping him busy.
mahon is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
mahon pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Silva throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around mahon's waist but mahon gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Silva off to one side.

Silva uses good head movement to avoid the hook from mahon.

Silva shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has mahon pinned against the cage. mahon gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

mahon wants to clinch up but Silva keeps it at a distance.

mahon does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

mahon had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Silva is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. mahon Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Silva's back instead.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

mahon jumps guard but Silva stands there with mahon around his waist. mahon gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

mahon goes for a takedown attempt but Silva pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Silva shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts mahon as he jumps to the side.

graham mahon is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Well mahon has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
