Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Max Drax!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Fernando Martinez!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Robert Twigg and Frank Dennis.

Drax throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Drax misses with a kick to the body
and Martinez counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Martinez swings for the body but Drax moves out of range.
It looked like Drax wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Martinez staying out of range there.
Martinez's coach down at Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Martinez's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
A lazy left from Martinez finds it's target.
Martinez darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Martinez ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Drax moves away.
Drax throws a half hearted mid kick.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Martinez! But no joy.

Martinez uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Drax.
Drax looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Drax walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Martinez gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Drax takes an elbow to the forehead.
It looks like Max Drax has been cut.
Drax has a couple of punches blocked by Martinez.
Martinez lands a body shot.

Martinez lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Drax or not.
Drax is breathing heavily.
Drax is trying to push Martinez away but Martinez has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Martinez managing to block the knees to the body from Drax.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Martinez breaks the clinch.
Martinez fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Drax manages to avoid it.
Drax went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Drax throws a lazy right hand but Martinez sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Martinez feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Drax sprawling to the canvas! Drax rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Martinez finish him?!
Drax is rocked!
Martinez darts in and clinches Drax up against the cage.
Oh Drax is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Drax tries a body shot but Martinez blocks it.
Martinez lands a big right hand that drops Drax! The killer instinct kicks in and Martinez finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Martinez!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Fernando Martinez!
