Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Thrawn Palpatine (ranked 6290 p4p, 5756 weight class) and Carter Wright (ranked 580 p4p, 562 weight class). Palpatine comes to the cage accompanied by The Imperial March. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Wright misses the shot to the body.
Palpatine walks into a straight right hand from Wright.
Thrawn Palpatine seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Palpatine shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Wright as he jumps to the side.
Wright connects with a looping right hand.
Palpatine moves in looking to clinch but Wright pushes him off.
Palpatine tries a head kick but it misses.
Wright takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wright takes a swing at Palpatine's ribcage but misses.
Palpatine tries to counter by clinching up but Wright breaks away and moves out of range.
Palpatine looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Palpatine tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Wright paws at him with a jab and circles away.

and Wright connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Wright lands a jab to Palpatine's midsection.

Palpatine shoots in for a takedown but Wright shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Palpatine takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Wright lands a right hook to the body.
Palpatine is breathing heavily.
Wright lands an uppercut, right on the button! Palpatine tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
