Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lee Stout (ranked 4532 p4p, 4889 weight class) and Kmaza Trulo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

Trulo manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Stout on his heels. He'll look to pass Stout's guard now, I'm sure.

Stout scrambles and gets back to his feet.

Trulo closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Trulo wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Stout has him pressed against the cage.

Trulo jumps guard and drags Stout to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Trulo keeping moving, preventing Stout from controlling successfully.
Trulo is pulling down on Stout's head. It's preventing any offense from Stout, at least for the moment.

Stout wants to stand but Trulo is controlling his posture from full guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Trulo fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Stout to the ground. Trulo is now in Stout's guard.
Trulo not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Trulo decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Stout, up you get!

and Trulo holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Trulo looking to throw knees to the head but Stout is blocking nicely.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Trulo has picked Stout up - he's going for a ride! Trulo dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Trulo in particular looking to stall.
Stout is trying to get back to full guard.

Trulo decides to return to a standing position.
Stout is breathing heavily.

Stout gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Trulo to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Stout is wriggling around but Trulo manages to pass to half guard.

Trulo looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Trulo moves into full mount! Stout won't be happy about that!

It looks like Trulo might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

A right-left combo lands from Trulo.
Trulo looks for a takedown but Stout sprawls well.
Stout feints and then cracks Trulo's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Trulo down.
Trulo throws a head kick that misses.
Trulo connects with a body shot that sends Stout's belly button to the back.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Trulo looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Trulo dips to his left and cracks Stout with an uppercut!

Trulo throws an overhand right that lands on Stout's shoulder, as Stout tries to avoid the shot.
Stout drops down looking for a counter takedown but Trulo sprawls and moves away.
Trulo jabs Stout to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Stout gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Trulo counters with a stiff right hand.

Stout is wriggling around but Trulo manages to pass to half guard.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Oh Stout is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Trulo in particular looking to stall.
Trulo working over Stout with some ground and pound. Stout looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Trulo is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Trulo has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Trulo decides to return to a standing position.
Stout takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Trulo shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

Trulo clinches up against the cage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Trulo's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Trulo looks to land a body kick but Stout moved away.
Stout is aggressively charging in as Trulo backs up avoiding any damage. Trulo tosses out a jab and Stout runs right into it face first! Stout is out cold! Trulo dropped down on all fours and is barking in Stout's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
