Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Derek Short (ranked 4592 p4p, 5718 weight class) and Twee Kerr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Twee Kerr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kerr takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Kerr shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Short sprawls well. Short wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kerr gets slowly back to his feet.

Kerr shoots for a double leg takedown but Short sprawls well. He's pushed Kerr's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
