Reilly shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Abente keeping moving, preventing Reilly from controlling successfully.
Abente escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Reilly gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Reilly avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Abente knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Reilly on the ground.
Abente has his foot on Reilly's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Reilly works his way back into a safe position though.
Reilly won't allow Abente to sweep him here.
Reilly thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Reilly avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Reilly seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Abente gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Reilly counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Abente is breathing heavily.
Reilly is trying for a kimura here. Abente looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Reilly wins by kimura!
