Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jorge Adesanya (ranked 3232 p4p, 3839 weight class) and Pedro Vela (ranked 438 p4p, 490 weight class). Adesanya's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Scarface intro Theme. Pedro Vela has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Vela throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Adesanya's waist but Adesanya gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Vela off to one side.
Vela has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Adesanya takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Vela has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Vela wants to finish this one by submission but Adesanya is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Vela.
Adesanya really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
