Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gene Beavis (ranked 4215 p4p, 5194 weight class) and Bjorn Akerfeldt (ranked 514 p4p, 586 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Beavis might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Real American. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Beavis tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Akerfeldt counters with a left and a right that stings Beavis.

Akerfeldt lands a left and a right that send Beavis crashing to the mat, dazed. Akerfeldt thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
A nice inside leg kick there by Akerfeldt. That's going to slow Beavis down.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
