Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chris Coryatt (ranked 2238 p4p, 2463 weight class) and Jorge Dos Santos (ranked 294 p4p, 320 weight class). Coryatt's entrance music is Slim Thug - Welcome 2 Houston. A fine choice. Jorge Dos Santos is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chris Coryatt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jorge Dos Santos!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Daniel Cesar and Leandro Rodrigues.

Dos Santos misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
As Dos Santos backs away, Coryatt returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.

Dos Santos's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Coryatt connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Dos Santos scrambles back to his feet.

It looks like Jorge Dos Santos has been cut.

Coryatt drops Dos Santos with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Dos Santos looks back up at him and smiles so Coryatt waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Dos Santos shoots in for a double leg but Coryatt sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Dos Santos wants to control but Coryatt is keeping him busy.

Dos Santos's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Coryatt fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Dos Santos has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
We've been told by Coryatt's head coaches at Primal Concrete Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Dos Santos crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Coryatt - the referee stops the clock and Dos Santos gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Coryatt. Dos Santos manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Dos Santos is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Coryatt gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Coryatt drops Dos Santos with a huge uppercut! Dos Santos drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Coryatt is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!

Chris Coryatt very nearly forgot to thank Conquer amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
