Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Junkyard Dog (ranked 98 p4p, 106 weight class) and Frank Stein (ranked 14 p4p, 16 weight class). Stein has chosen Red - Falling Sky as his entrance music. Frank Stein will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

With a record of 32 - 19 - 1, fighting out of New York, Frank Stein!

and Dog takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Dog has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dog is looking for a triangle but Stein pushes his legs off easily.
Stein stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dog swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Stein wants to control from the top but Dog keeps moving.

Dog has his foot on Stein's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Stein works his way back into a safe position though.

Stein got a little sloppy there for a moment and Dog has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Stein has managed to get both his arms back between Dog's legs - danger averted.
Dog wants to sweep here but Stein controlling him for the moment.

Dog working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Stein doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Stein manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Dog with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Stein to score with a decent uppercut.

Stein lands a big head kick that sends Dog tumbling to the mat! Stein takes a step backwards and waves Dog back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Dog is rocked!

It looks like Junkyard Dog has been cut.
Stein ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Dog's jaw. Dog's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Stein does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:27 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Frank Stein!
A very excited looking Frank Stein made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
