Tsuruta checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
A nice side step and Tsuruta releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
A punch lands to the side of Thiago 's head but he takes it in his stride.

It looks like Thiago Thiago has been cut.
Tsuruta stalks Thiago and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Thiago's face. Thiago staggers backwards, shaken.
Tsuruta throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Thiago swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Thiago slips a jab and a cross from Tsuruta.
Thiago on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Thiago gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Tsuruta.
Tsuruta throws a right hand that misses
and Thiago counters with a stiff right hand.
Thiago steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Tsuruta.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Tsuruta bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Thiago's head.
Tsuruta takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Thiago throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Thiago blocks a jab.
Thiago tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Thiago lands a leg kick that knocks Tsuruta off balance momentarily.
Tsuruta connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Thiago momentarily.
Thiago takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Thiago is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Tsuruta takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Thiago waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Tsuruta.
Tsuruta looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Thiago pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Tsuruta now looks to counter with a shot at the body.

Tsuruta feints with a jab and clips Thiago right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Thiago is sent crashing into the canvas and Tsuruta leaps in for the kill! Thiago tries to get to his feet but Tsuruta is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Thiago is in need of a savior and steps in!
