Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Antonio Barbosa (ranked 1983 p4p, 2397 weight class) and Damian Tonon (ranked 245 p4p, 295 weight class). Barbosa comes to the cage accompanied by Eminem - Go to Sleep. Damian Tonon has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Antonio Barbosa's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Antonio Barbosa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Damian Tonon!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Percy O'Donnell.

Barbosa cracks Tonon with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
It looks like Damian Tonon has been cut.
Barbosa connects with a nice looking jab.
Barbosa swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Tonon closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Barbosa to the mat! Barbosa manages to get full guard.
Barbosa can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Tonon controls the pace.
Tonon wants to pass the guard but Barbosa is keeping the position.
Tonon postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Barbosa is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Tonon, into his guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Tonon is on top in guard.
Barbosa wants to sweep here but Tonon controlling him for the moment.

Tonon works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Tonon wants to work for an arm triangle but Barbosa is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Tonon seems to be working for a kimura but Barbosa defends the submission attempt.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Tonon is looking for a kimura but Barbosa is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Tonon to get the leverage.

Barbosa knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Tonon on the ground.
Barbosa is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Tonon seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Barbosa does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Barbosa is looking for a sweep. Tonon is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Tonon is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Barbosa doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Tonon.

Barbosa has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Barbosa wants to get back to full guard.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Barbosa connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Tonon's hands.
Barbosa lands a front kick.
A jab lands there for Barbosa.
Antonio Barbosa is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Barbosa tries a head kick but it misses.
Barbosa displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Tonon.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Barbosa throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The cut man is working on Damian Tonon's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Tonon tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Barbosa looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Tonon tries for a takedown but Barbosa sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Barbosa thows a body kick. Tonon tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Tonon shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Barbosa counters with a nice uppercut.
Barbosa fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tonon takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Tonon misses with a takedown attempt
and Barbosa connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Tonon is rocked!
Antonio Barbosa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Damian Tonon.
Tonon throws a head kick that misses.
Tonon is still on wobbly legs! Can Barbosa finish him?
A big right from Tonon misses.
Tonon seems to have recovered his senses.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Tonon walks straight into a right hand from Barbosa - that's dropped him! Barbosa jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Tonon from any more punishment! Tonon complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:09 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Antonio Barbosa!
A very excited looking Antonio Barbosa made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
