Parcharidis misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
And Chan tries to counter it with a takedown but Parcharidis pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Parcharidis slaps away a takedown attempt from Chan, before circling back to the center of the mat.
A bone on bone clash there as Chan blocks the leg kick.
Chan shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Parcharidis as he avoids it easily.
Parcharidis fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Chan checks it well.
Parcharidis is looking to chop away at Chan's legs.
Chan fails in his attempt to clinch.
Parcharidis wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Chan looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Parcharidis throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Chan tries to counter with a clinch but Parcharidis shakes him off and moves away.
Chan doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Parcharidis counters with a low kick, right behind Chan 's knee.
Parcharidis is looking to chop away at Chan's legs.

and Parcharidis counters with an outside leg kick.
Parcharidis tries to score with a low kick but Chan moves his leg out of the way.

Chan tries to close the distance and clinch up but Parcharidis swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Parcharidis throws the kick towards the body but Chan avoids it.
Parcharidis tries to land a leg kick but Chan saw it coming and moves away.
A solid leg kick lands there for Parcharidis.
Chan takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Parcharidis will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Parcharidis closes the distance and clinches.

Parcharidis breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Chan takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Parcharidis appears to be looking for a big counter.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Parcharidis leaves Chan with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Chan tries to bum rush Parcharidis with a series of wild strikes but Parcharidis uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Chan shoots for a double leg takedown but Parcharidis sprawls well. He's pushed Chan's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Parcharidis is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Chan can do to turn this around?
Parcharidis does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Chan looks to score with a jab to the body but Parcharidis is just out of range.

and Parcharidis counters with a one-two to the body.
Parcharidis uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Chan has time to react.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Parcharidis.
Chan bucks up and tries to throw Parcharidis off but instead Parcharidis has got his back!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Parcharidis biding his time, looking for the opening.
Parcharidis has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Parcharidis's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Chan is defending well here and trying to improve his position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
This is a sustained period of stalling by Parcharidis.
