PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marco Mazini (ranked 4774 p4p, 4694 weight class) and Frank Deadly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mazini comes to the cage accompanied by Enter Sandman. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Mazini feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Marco Mazini overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Deadly is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Mazini shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Deadly is trying to defend but Mazini finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
